August 2008:

The Association reminds ALL businesses in Hillcrest to be on the lookout for a voting ballot in the mail this week. WE NEED A MAJORITY OF OUR 1200+ BUSINESSES TO RESPOND by marking a ballot and returning it in the enclosed, stamped envelopes. Please take a moment to send this back to us ASAP to allow business at the Association to run smoothly.

 The by-laws changes are necessary due to a greatly increased membership since the Association was founded. We've grown from 300 businesses, when the by-laws were written, to over 1200! This makes doing business a completely different process here in our office on Fifth Ave, and we need everyone's help in getting this done. 

 If you have any questions about the vote, the ballot or anything else, feel free to call us at the office, Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm and we'll be happy to assist. Thank you, wonderful Hillcrest Businesses... you keep this neighborhood running!
